It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:
Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang. :D
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Art Un-Stored Now!

Hi folks!

Sorry I've been dormant for a while. I'm just starting to feel a desire to paint again, so hopefully you'll see more art from me soon! That is, if Calculus III doesn't manage to consume my soul first.

In the mean time, I've brought a bunch of art out of storage (like, everything Endi, among other things), in case you're interested! It's kinda fun going through stuff I had forgotten about, actually...very rewarding. :)

Let me know if you find the organization of the gallery confusing or anything! I'm open to suggestions!

Oh, and, just because I find this strange. It doesn't appear that I ever had my final Bryce Sculpt posted in my gallery...it wasn't in storage! :| ...so I re-posted it along with some close-ups! Have a look! Here's my latest painting too. 'Cause I can. :)

Correction! Taking Calc IV instead...which is probably good as the integral stuff is relatively fresh in my head. :) Calc III will likely be after that. :)

LOL- oh fine. I didn't take calc IV- but can't say for sure my school was on the same program.
Calc II sucked because it was mostly series and algorithms and things of that nature.
Calc III was fun because it was topography, how to find locations on 3dimensional forms. which was great coming from a 3d perspective.

You'll have to share what Calc IV is all about

Calc 4 is to do with multiple variables and partial derivatives...maybe what you're talking about? Sounds like a lot of 3D stuff. I'm pretty stoked. :D
