Alright...I need some thoughts & feedback here...
As you probably know, I've been doing a ton of speedpainting and sketching lately, along with several more polished pieces.
Sometimes it's pretty obvious that something should go directly to scraps (do not pass go, do not collect...well, you know the rest), whereas finished/polished paintings [or sculpts, etc] obviously belong in the deviations category.
All well and good...but what of speedpaintings? The beauty of those, at least in my mind, *is* their roughness, and the fact that they complete an idea with minimal brush strokes [that is to say, "work"]. If they're successful (I realize very often they aren't
), I feel like those belong in the deviations folder along with the polished pieces.
I've been feeling pretty eclectic lately too...trying different things from the usual, for better or worse. Sometimes it makes it hard to decide which folder those go in.
Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts (or rants, if you've got 'em...I'm sure I've ticked some people off with my posting of late!)
