So i couldn't be much happier about this if craig mullins had mailed me his brain for it with a note saying "have fun".
Alright, so that might be a lie. Still, I'm having a good art day, and my usual 30 minute speedpainting session turned into 3 hours. I'm happy though. "Official" concept art for Endi, my graphic novel in the works. This is one of the main characters. (Recognize the necklace?) 3 hours, photoshop. Edit: Oh yeah, this is the portrait I'd intended to do when i painted that "Forest Party" speedpaint. Also, I know the proportions are.....questionable.....but my primary focus here was in the character's personality and the atmosphere/lighting. If it's any excuse  |
